Newegg question
i dunno if this will be the right place to put this but meh, now i live in Albany, NY, USA i ordered some stuff from newegg on saturday, it was shipped out today, i got one tracking number but my order is being shipped from 2 different warehouses one from NJ and one from CA, the order is for the parts from CA not the NJ, it supposed to arrive this thursday, does this mean maybe tomorrow ill get the tracking number for the stuff from NJ? is this because they are closer theyll ship it tomorrow while from CA they shipped today?

Depending on the parts and availability, Newegg will shipped them out from different warehouse locations. In this case, I think they got some of the parts available in CA not in NJ (vice-versa with NJ having things that CA warehouse don't have)
I think they're processing things a bit faster from their CA site so that you got the parts shipped out from there first. The stuffs from NJ site should probably go out either later today or tomorrow. Check your status again tomorrow morning to see if it shipped out.
By the way, I used Newegg many time so I kinda of know how their shipping goes! Had purchased a new motherboard combo last week on the 18th and gotten it by 20th. (shipping out of CA and I lived in CA too lol)
Hope this solve your problems.

cool thank you, also another question i used UPS because UPS=~$30 while FedEx= +$100 dunno why really, but was it a good idea to entrust 1k worth of items to UPS? ive heard they have very crappy customer service and they like to toss around fragile stuff?

Yes, a friend worked for them for a while, and said exactly that. The people who unloaded/loaded trucks would throw stuff, especially anything marked TV etc. If its damaged get in touch with Newegg first. They will most likely ship a replacement in a day or two. If you go through UPS the delivery driver must schedule a stop and pick up the package, then its inspected. About a month later you receive reimbursement for the value of the package, not including shipping. Newegg is pretty good about putting a lot of protective material so I wouldnt worry too much.
I've purchased several thousand of computer equipment, mostly through Newegg. I only had problems with one computer case which was damaged 3 different times, once by Fedex, twice by UPS. The case was poorly protected by Antec. Eventually a salesman at Antec reinforced the packaging himself and it was finally shipped in one piece.

Ive dealt with Newegg quite a lot as have many of my coworkers, and none of us have had any issues.
First of all never upgrade your shipping. Always use the lowest cost one, the improvement in service is negligible. Most often I will order parts on saturday and get them by tues ( I also live in NY and 95% come from NJ )
Quite often Newegg will send some parts via UPS and some USPS , a lot of it depends on the size. Often by the time you get the tracking numbers and they are marked " received " in the office nearest you , you will already have the item.
